Grand Rapids, Michigan · Custom Woodshop
Hand-built wall racks, game boards, and seating — cut, sanded, and finished in a one-car garage, one board at a time. If you can see the grain, we picked that board on purpose.

How a small piece gets made
Every piece starts the same way: standing in front of a stack of rough lumber, picking boards for how the grain will run once they're cut down. That's the part that can't be rushed — and it's the difference between a rack that looks store-bought and one that looks like it grew that way.
Small pieces are cut, glued, and sanded in the same one-car garage where the big cabinet jobs happen. Nothing leaves the shop until it's been sanded past 220 grit and finished by hand.
Why we build
What began as a way to unwind after a day job has become a second craft: every cornhole set, chair, and wall rack is built with the same care as the built-in cabinets and custom tables. Small pieces are how we get better between the big jobs — and how you get a piece of the shop without waiting for a full remodel.
